Is it just me, or does that place look absolutely beautiful? Just give me a shade tent and running water to wash off the omnipresent dust.
Glacial and water erosion, so... somewhere around North Dakota or Minnesota. Somewhere that got hit in the most recent ice age.

Heh, that looks like the desert location in SoCal that was featured in so many Original Star Trek episodes (you know, the one where Kirk fights the Gorn - the guy with the plaster-of-paris lizard head.)

Looks like Goblin Valley in southern Utah. If so, a pity I don't have time to take a sudden road trip, being in SLC and all.
I vote Utah, or Iceland.

Heck, Texas itself isn't even one long country, as you travel south east to north west.
One of those shots looks uncomfortably like the location for an old "Star Trek" episode. I don't suppose you spotted William Shatner being chased through the area by a seven foot Gorn by any chance did you?
